Children's Workshop Dealing Effectively with, and Understanding Bullying
Suitable for Year 3 upwards
This workshop has been designed to enable children to understand bullying in all it's forms and gives them strategies to deal effectively with bullying should it become a reality for the child/young person.
The workshop includes: -
How do we already keep ourselves safe?
- Exploring how children and young people already keep themselves safe.
What is bullying?
- Identifying the many forms that bullying takes e.g., physical, emotional etc.,
How will someone feel if they are being bullied?
Emotional effects of bullying on a child or young person.
Why do people bully?
- Examining possible reasons for bullying.
- Identifying as a group and as individuals, support networks and strategies for dealing effectively with bullying
